The Moon moves out of energetic Aries and into earthy Taurus today, which moves our attention from who we are to what we have. Focus this weekend will be on finances, budgeting, purchases, and of course our values. One of the interesting things about today is the number of aspects we have; although all of them are from the Moon to a planet which makes it a lunar day. When we have numerous lunar aspects the day can be extremely rough, because our emotions can be up and down, or can be confusing, and we can feel a bit on edge depending on what planets are being activated. Thankfully, most of the aspects will occur while everyone is asleep which leaves us with only a trine to Mercury and a square to Mars to deal with throughout the day. The Moon trine Mercury gives us the ability to explore new things, take trips, or go shopping, however tonight will be a good evening to stay in as the Moon’s square to Mars can make us feel a bit on edge and emotionally reactive. On a deeper level, we can use the aspect of Mars to explore where in our lives we are not getting what we want, and conceive of new ways to go after our goals.
