The Moon begins its transit through the sign of Cancer and immediately makes an opposition to Pluto and squares Saturn. We will notice a sudden increase in our emotional sensitivity to others around us. Since the Moon in Cancer rates emotional security above everything else, we will notice a few days of worry and concerns based on the actions of others and their response to us. The Moon moves out of Sagittarius and into Capricorn on Tuesday bringing forth a more serious tone and texture throughout the day. Capricorn Moon’s are considered heavy by fiery and watery folks, who would prefer to see life through the lens of imagination and emotion. However, in order for us to survive life in a physical body the universe requires us to spend a quarter of our time immersed in the mundane world of money, day to day responsibilities, jobs, and being a productive member of society. When the Moon is in Capricorn we are best served using the energy to explore the structures and stability in our lives. It augurs a time for us to knuckle down and view the seriousness of our circumstances in order to categorize and understand life to make well rounded future decisions and choices. During the early morning hours on Wednesday the Moon will continue to move through the sign of Pisces. Pisces is one of the few signs where the void of course does not apply. I am sure you are wondering why? Pisces is ruled by Jupiter, the great benefic and according to classical astrology the prohibition does not apply in the signs of Jupiter’s rulership (Pisces and Sagittarius) or Jupiter’s exaltation (Cancer). So, when the Moon no longer makes aspects in this sign the planets can still perform without the fear of “nothing coming of the matter”.

During the afternoon hours, the Moon will move into Aries. The Moon in this sign brings forth a rather compulsive and impulsive feeling. Aries does not like to wait for anything, and when the Moon is in this sign we can begin to feel anxious and want things to happen for us immediately. The Moon will make a couple of sextile aspects to The Sun and Venus, which brings forth opportunities for romance, but this evening tensions may rise as The Moon squares Pluto and opposes Saturn.
