Cosmic Weather Forecast — March 10, 2010
I want you to close your eyes for a moment. You are now a race car driver with a shiny new car complete with that new car smell. You sit in the seat and start your engine. The energy of the car rises through the motor, radiating through the steering wheel and through your body. You push the gas pedal to feel the potential force of the power at your grip. It feels alive and wonderful! You put the car into gear and press the pedal, yet the race car engine begins to sputter and stall. Feel the feelings you are going through, as you realize you are going nowhere in a hurry. This is the feeling we have all been going through since Mars went retrograde on December 20, 2009, but today Mars will go direct in Leo and begin to move forward once again.
Whenever a planet goes retrograde it tends to perform in a more introverted manner based on whatever sign it is transiting through and the natural expression of the planet. Since Leo involves self discovery and individuality, Mars retrograde forces us all to question ourselves, our position in life, and where we are going in the future. Usually it does this by creating roadblocks and obstacles in our lives that make us feel frustrated and out of control in our own world. For the past several months, we have all been re-examining our plan of action whether on a conscious or unconscious level.
Over the period of the next week, we will all begin to feel a bit more in control of our circumstances. While Mars is stationing we can begin to create a plan of action for our future. What do you really want out of your life? Use the magnetism and vitality of this sign to pursue the future in a vigorous way, as you will find the obstacles that have prevented your forward motion will be just a thing of the past.
Ready? Set. Go!
