Cosmic Weather Forecast — March 2, 2010

On Tuesday, the Moon begins to take up residence in the sign of Libra. Libra is the sign associated with relationships, partnerships, and open enemies. Libra likes the world peaceful and without conflict, and tends to be the diplomats and harmonizers of life. At its core, Libra is about choices, and we can find that when this sign is prevalent in the sky we have hard times making decisions and/or are afraid of the results of our choices.

The Moon being in Libra dovetails straight into the major planetary aspect of the day – Mercury inconjunct Saturn. Mercury is the planet of thought and expression and Saturn is the planet of fears, and when they come together vis-à-vis the obsessive 150 angle the results can be quite difficult. This aspect tends to lead us to jump to conclusions and interpret events, circumstances, and motivations of others in a rather disjointed way. On the inside it tends to invoke our insecurities, anxieties, and uncertainties. Today we need to avoid “thinking” and “believing” everything that goes on in our heads. Take some time to relax and before jumping to conclusions allow some time to elapse before definitively judging the situations in our lives.
