The Moon will be void of course in Gemini until mid-morning when it will move into emotional Cancer.   The Cancer Moon provides us with opportunities to understand our feelings and at the same time develop emotional closeness with those around us.   When the Moon is in its own sign, it’s a time for us to examine how we feel and give meaning to our feelings.   Whether we feel sad, angry, hurt, betrayed, lonely, happiness, jubilance, or joy all our feelings have the right to be heard, understood and expressed.

One of the fears of this Moon is separation and disconnection from others – which is true of all the water signs.  Often with the best of intentions, the Cancer Moon tends to be self sacrificing.  This can inadvertently bind others to us and create emotional dependencies.   Today, take some time to explore the areas of our lives where we feel we need people, and often use feelings and emotions to keep them close.   Liberating others from a sense of duty towards us can free us from feeling emotionally entangled when they express their independence and individuality.
