Cosmic Weather Forecast — January 11, 2010

After an energetic low appeared in the Cosmic Weather this past weekend with the Moon moving through Mars retrograde ruled Scorpio, the Moon has made its way into jubilant and energetic Sagittarius. The Moon in Sagittarius brings out our childlike nature, which enjoys things that are adventurous and enthusiastic. Too much routine and restrictions can bring forth a touch of anxieties, especially with Jupiter the ruler of Sagittarius being in Aquarius.

Although the Moon is in the sign of the Centaur, its “hi ho, hi ho, it’s off to work we go”! The Moon will make a few interesting aspects on Monday, which will help to liven things up a bit. First off, the Moon will conjoin with nurturing Dwarf Planet Ceres, and we will notice a strong need to be nurtured. Nurturing is a rather interesting word because it implies a need for “sustenance” to grow. Monday is a great day for you to ask, what you need to sustain yourself at this point in your life. Later in the day, The Moon will make a beautiful trine (easy flow of energy) to Mars giving us an abundance of pent up energy (possibly from the weekend) for us to release in productive ways.

There only planetary aspect today is a beautiful conjunction between the Sun and Venus in Capricorn. Venus has a natural rulership over money with her connection to the sign of Taurus, and since Capricorn is an earth sign this provides an unobstructed avenue for us to attract things into our lives. In fact, the next 3 days should be rather good for business, publicity, and social opportunities.
